The Cauffiel House is a summer estate once owned by Daniel Cauffiel, an advisor to the duPont family. Built in 1920, Cauffiel furnished his home with items influenced from his travels to Europe, some of which still furnish the space. The house can be used for events of up to 50 people, and also includes 4 rooms that may be rented out for a night's stay (perfect for bridal parties the night before a wedding!)..
The grounds of the Cauffiel Estate are also lovely: noble old trees, rolling hills, lush gardens and a gazebo all overlook the Delaware River.
